About Ashley Vachon
Ashley is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies at the University of Ottawa and earned her Master’s degree in Counselling from Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Ontario.
Ashley’s clinical and community-based experience includes working with children, youth, and adults. She provides individual therapy to clients navigating challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, grief and loss, behavioural concerns, trauma, suicidality, self-esteem, and difficulties related to family transitions, including high-conflict separation.
Ashley’s therapeutic approach is empathetic, collaborative, non-judgemental, and developmentally informed. She prioritizes creating a safe and supportive space where individuals can express themselves through age-appropriate interventions, including play-based, cognitive, and behavioural modalities. She also incorporates a client-centred approach that focuses on each individual’s unique experiences, values, and goals while supporting them throughout the therapeutic process.
Ashley views psychotherapy as a supportive and empowering process grounded in safety and trust, where individuals are encouraged to develop self-awareness and navigate their day-to-day lives with greater understanding and confidence.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, learning new recipes, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
